ARTproject

"I work as an artist-researcher developing transformative artistic systems that integrate visual, performative and applied art with natural processes and ecological principles. My practice is process-based, interdisciplinary and site-responsive, focusing on the relationship between material, space, time and human experience. Artworks function as outcomes of research and lived processes rather than isolated objects, engaging aesthetic, social and environmental dimensions." #sandrabanart

For me, art is not a field of competition, but a field of expansion. It is one of the rare disciplines in which growth can generate well-being not only for the individual, but for society as a whole. Art does not conquer or impose; it illuminates. In a world marked by complexity and tension, I see it as a space of freedom, connection, and transformation. My practice moves fluidly between ceramic sculpture, performance, video, and multisensory installation, integrating material and immaterial dimensions through a philosophy in which ecology, ethics, and aesthetics are inseparable. Working within post-contemporary conditions, I approach art as a field where ecology, technology, design, spirituality, and social reflection intersect. Ceramic sculpture, my primary medium, becomes a living extension of the earth: a carrier of memory, transformation, and human presence. My process is rooted in sustainability and direct engagement with matter, often involving the creation of my own materials and tools. Each work emerges through dialogue with its environment, balancing ecological awareness with sensory and conceptual depth.

Across my projects, from immersive installations engaging sound, tactility, and spatial experience to performative works where the body merges with clay, I seek to dissolve the boundary between art and life. Form becomes experience, matter becomes language, and the artwork becomes a living situation that invites reflection on our relationship with nature, world, and one another.

I believe in no limits! by Sandra Ban
